What are your Labor Day Traditions?

Normally we do a BBQ at my parent's house, but we've decide to just do grazing food and play corn hole this year since everyone is on different diets.

We typically go on vacation at the end of August, so we’re usually away for Labor Day.

This year we didn’t, but we spent the weekend at the beach.

I'm jealous! The weather ended up being crappy, so we didn't even do a BBQ. :(

It was supposed to be rainy here, but the weather held out until yesterday! I hope you can have a BBQ soon.

I worked... I always seem to work for companies that never close for labor day. So I got to spend it staring at the dumb ones going "Oh why are you open, other places are closed. You guys should have the day off too." Then proceed to shop... like homeslice I'm HERE because you just proved to corporate that we NEED to be open for your shopping. At least it was time and a half or maybe double time pay.

FINALLY GOT THE 15K WARDROBE DONE!!!!! Next up gutting and selling it.

Luckily my current workplace was closed but I have done the tradition of labouring on an ironically-named holiday. Many people follow that "tradition" and that is something to keep in mind as many people are fighting for better worker rights.

I will love you forever if you trade me:
