Last year's thread Morostide 2021 Suggestions
General themes for morostide: -Everything halloween (except maybe zombies) -The bloodred and nightmare pet colors -Candy -The avatar zapper -Pop culture rag dolls
Some personal suggestions: -a ground item where the ground is covered in vines -Something referencing that thing they do where they give animals in the zoo pumpkins the day after halloween. -Standing by last year's more video game/ real people rag dolls idea (Tom Nook from animal crossing, A demon from doom, a zombie from minecraft) -to immediately go against my previous suggestion, rag dolls for: Bruno from Encanto, Starlight from the Boys, some more star trek characters (Uhura, worf, picard, seven of nine), a new vampire rag doll that is more dracula or nosferatu than the current one (wich is a that guy from twilight), a xenomorph and a predator.
Aw yes I'd want a Bruno Rag Doll. "Mystic Rag Doll - He was joking, it doesn't really look like rain"
I still want the marshmallow ears for base 20 and the broken curious little dolls.
I don't know if the animal for this year's special Patch minion -the ones with achievements for finding them- has been decided yet by staff, but I would like to throw out some suggestions for consideration (for this year or future years).
Armadillo Possum Raccoon
Yes plzzz honestly marshmallow ears for all the other non-skin tone bases would be amazing
I really would love a Harry Potter collection of rag doll o
Also to the team.. can you bring back the ?
Some wardrobe items maybe in reference to 'What We Do in the Shadows' would be fun. There are SO many cool outfit ideas. Maybe books or rag dolls in reference to the show, too.
More gummy blobs for background colors and gradients.
Trick or treating candy buckets with different candies in them as wearables/edible.
More fun, cute hats like with spiders or bat deely boppers on them.
I'll always ask for more spooky backgrounds that we can add various spooky item pieces in front of to make scenes.
Omg, the candy sucker from Trick R' Treat and maybe books in reference to Halloween myths and legends rules and how not to break them.

Per usual, I would like more ghosts, simply because I love them. That is all.
I wish we could unlock hexes as wearables once we've been hexed. There are so many good ones and they don't last very long. :(
I'd still like to see broken/severed limbs that make use of the limb hiding feature.
I'd also like to see some creepy-looking trees that are dark in colour (or even solid black) that can be used against different backdrops.
Not sure what kind of rag dolls I'd like to see, but it would be great if they included cartoon characters that have been popular recently.
More bats, just because! More Curious Little [Name] Dolls
For rag dolls: grim reaper, fairy, Slenderman, Dracula, plague doctor, skeleton (surprised we don't already have that!)
PLZZZZZ give us wearable hexes!! Either as skins or as proper wearables. I would use sooo many of them! And it wouldn’t require any new art to be made! For some reason my account doesn’t hold onto hexes and within one page refresh I’m unhexed again 😅
Really looking forward to Morostide and even more to new zapper skins. Still love the idea of skins based on the experiments , , , , and .
1031 could be amazing especially if there was a way to make it at all transparent. 1983 is not my favorite experiment but it could make a really fun skin with hoofed feet ridges around the forehead and all those plates on the back. The 8001 could be just as awesome with the blue flares on either side of its head. I really want 699's tail and ears so bad but the ears might be difficult to work with hairs maybe they could just be wearables with separate ears so we can layer one under and one over.
All things crows or ravens please
The suggestion for more Blob Gushers YES, please! Maybe they could be rotten and come in more neutral or grungy colors.
More Ghostly companions would love to have a merghost, steampunk ghost, and one peeking out of a pumpkin.
It would be wonderful to have more items that are shaded to look like they are glowing and spooky lanterns, carved pumpkins and fireflies seem like good ideas for morostide. Maybe the lamps could even match the benches we just bought from Nuegarten. The pumpkins could be a new item but I was thinking of the ones we carve when I thought of the idea. Example:
Book Ideas:
How to investigate a crime scene cordoning off the area, looking for clues, gathering evidence (maybe loudly mocking idiots while simultaneously demonstrating your intelligence)
We had a wonderful trilogy on wigs, makeup and body paint so it would be nice to get one on costuming perhaps related to the props or how to work with different materials used to make them.
Not sure if you know of any more minor curses but it was a really good series so if there are no more minor curses maybe we could get a series on major curses.
A pamphlet on trick or treating safety this year to go with the Trick or treating map that was so helpful last year.
One of my suggestions for Survival might fit better here. Books based around morticians about them and for them. I've always liked the educational books better on Subeta but I also enjoy ones with serious sounding but humorous titles. We could always use more than one book on a topic or theme :) after all we need that shiny new HA border.
There were so many good ideas last year that weren't even my own and I really would like to see them. Here are some of my favorite ones.
had an idea I loved for more playsets. Please I want them so bad especially . . . nope I want all of them.
’s idea for scary backgrounds I love all five ideas. If you did the suggestion for a crime scene background I would love to also get the suggestion for crime scene tape and signs and maybe some traffic cones to go with it.
Another user suggested Griffin, Unicorn, Satyr, Harpy, and dragon ragdolls. I like the more traditional monster dolls more than the fan based ones sometimes because I can use them with any HA I create. If we did get more Harry Potter themed ones maybe they could be based on Harry Potter monsters instead of staring characters.
And finally it will always be nice to see the return of the rarest trick or treat items especially second wave ones that were only around one year. Here is me looking at the new HA borders and wishing for rare books and edibles. Also why is Morostide not represented in the holiday NPC's list? Where is Jaxson and the pumpkin patch? Not even sure I spelled that right.
rag dolls suggestion: Doraemon Hua Cheng and Xie Lian from Heaven Official's Blessing
costumed pets wearable: love to see hamsters, guinea pigs, bunnies, etc. dressed up for morostide
fairytale wearables:
mods to pose for morostide
candy plushies that the HAs can hold in their arm
spirit/ghost companions
I don't think a series of items representing the Vampire: The Masquerade clans has been done yet. Even if it was just, like, face makeup it could be super cool.
Since Subeta skews towards adults, a wearable goodie/candy bowl would be cool, with custom arms.
alternative werebeast stuff would also be great- werebears, wereboars, weretigers, etc. Could go crazy with silly ones like werechihuahuas or were squirrels
[Tree=Glacier]
I think items wise, I'd like more pastel witch-y stuff, and more spooky monochrome printed things. I love when they do the fancy witches hats and outfits, but I'd also like more male items with short hair. I'd love for some items themed around ash and decay, and as for rag dolls, I'm just looking forward to being surprised! that said a bruno one would be so cute
Various hand/arm poses (that can be transformed into all the base colours!) for spell castings and rituals.
Various demons climbing out of faces, torsos and limbs.
Weird eyes. Eyes where mouths should be, eyes on torsos, eyes on trees and cauldrons and in the sky. Eyes that are flowers like in Bee and Puppycat "you made a rose nasty?!".
Various colours of dribbly semitransparent goo (blob gusher style, but different colours please), for layering in back/foregrounds.
Bee and Puppycat rag dolls.
Spider legs that come out of the sides of the face, as if the head was a spider thorax.
Spider abdomen themed big hair buns that sit on top of the head.
Spider eyes for where the mouth usually goes.
Zombie Rrraw
Air Head : Angler : Ant Agony : Barnankles : Blistered Hearts : Brainrot : Bright Bite : Butterfly Bruise : Buzzkill : Clusterflux : Creeping : Cryomorph : Crystalitis : Death Slug : Doom Bloom : Eau De Ceased : Fevermore : Grosseries : Grossfungus : Ikupox : Lobster Face : Lotus : Love Bug : Metalmorphosis : Pinkie Patch : Sickura : The Vapours : Yggdrakill

Ok not sure if you can do anything about this before Morostide. But with the release of those wonderful arms in the Freyalise shop I was thinking about using them with skins from Morostide and Survival until I remembered you can't remove limbs from the skins.
I'm not sure which solution I prefer, changing it so we can remove the limbs or creating a bunch of item that would strategically cover the limbs. The second would give us a lot of fun new items but the first would allow us to use items we already have in our wardrobe. Eh I see it as win win which ever you choose. But that might be something to keep in mind creating this years morostide items.
After seeing the above post could we hug our ragdolls instead of dragging them around one year. Maybe some more generic monster ones instead of the fan based ones.
> I'd love to see more everyday clothing options with a fun Morostide theme, such as maxi skirts, sweaters and dresses with patterns like bats, crescent moons, autumn leaves, pumpkins, spider webbing, ect.
> Some head scarves like the or other hair covering scarves in fun seasonal patterns or solids would be great. I enjoy layering them under hats. <3
> I love the cozy pumpkin sweaters it would be great to have more sweaters with unique arm poses.
> Also, new neighborly playsets! [Item=springtime neighborly popoko playset] I made some suggestions in last years Moro thread for some new ones doing fun autumn activities like reading scary stories, playing in leaves, carving pumpkins, ect. I'm still smitten by them and would LOVE to see more pet species get the neighborly treatment.
What about a huge Morostide party with games? It would be cute to bob for apples and get a random prize (this could even be an achievement with a title like "-user- just keeps on bobbin'"). For non-cutesy games, you can go with Truth or Dare, where the player has to choose from a scenario and would have to retrieve an item based on their answer.
