Sorry if this was already posted. I was thinking maybe we could have the "activate now?" option on the buddy GA, so it won't go to waste, shame for both parties.
Doesn't it just get added on to your GA time? So an additional 30 days per gift?
It does, automatically, that's why I thought it would be great to be asked "your buddy sent you a GA buddy account, do you want to activate it now?" Or save it for later, so if they gave you the GA, but suddenly you're not able to play, it won't go to waste.
I guess I rather would have a pause on the GA time left, like how it happens if you have a subscription. The buddy GAs aren't an item per say so I would hate another currency type banking system. But that is me personally.
i'm with permanent on this one - i'd rather have the ability to pause the ga, there's no need for a currency banking system for gas.
Guys, I obviously can't explain myself properly, I said nothing about any currency, just a button option to activate or not...how can I make myself clear? Like the Morty Card in your inventory when you click on it and it asks you "are you sure", something like that.
Morty Card is an Item. Buddy GA is not, it is an event. If you don't activate it immediately does it just sit in your sidebar as an event forever? That would clutter the sidebar. If you get gifted multiple and decide not to use them?
What Ari and I are agreeing is it would be easier from the dashboard page where you see how much GA time you have accumulated to pause it. I currently have time but it is paused due to a subscription also as an MM I automatically have a gold account. So from there a person could pause the timer. It is essentially the same as your idea as a button, but a person would have to do it from there. And then they can accumulate as much as they want and then click activate. It would also be easier for those who hiatus during school .etc not to "miss out" on gifted gold time.
Edit: also I would say it has to have a 24 hour cool down time. No turning on GA for a few minutes to autoprice and then turn it off .etc. the timer works in days so it should be in at minimum the same increment.
Yes, THAT! I was just saying to make something possible, of course no idea what, you're the expert :) <3
