Definitely like the tagline of: "Our parents told us stories of what the cities were like when they were filled with people." It looks like there are still people in this post-apocalyptic setting, but why are they not in cities? How are they organizing their new society? Or are the cities of childhood bedtime stories cities of old, long-since abandoned for newer urban developments, in which case what is the significance of passing on those stories to future generations? I think that's super interesting.

He's wildly unfinished, but I'll toss in Folklores. Maybe that'll jog the creative juices haha

I know I already nerded about how amazing prophet is, but I NEED you to know that there's two lines that really hit me like a ton of bricks:

First of all? "out in the middle of god's country where only the corn can hear you..." INCREDIBLE. Perfectly sets the scene and it matches the casual tone of the story overall. Also, ""anyway, i came over to you because i felt your vibes from the cornfield--"" I'm just. This dude. The vibes this dude gives off. The power emanating from that one statement. I can't handle it. It's brilliant.

One other thing... having the dictionary definition of "prophet" at the beginning of the profile is so chef's kiss, so yolo swag. It really just makes you go 🤔 😳

I'm gonna give it to: "there's a fine line between being proud of yourself and outright snobbishness, and delilah precariously walks that line every day." It just really establishes Delilah as not the kindest/most considerate character while highlighting the high standards she's held to/she holds for herself.
