There are times when SS won't show me what shell I'm supposed to be looking for, it just takes me straight to the choices leaving me to click randomly and lose my streak! It seems to mostly do it with the long spiky shell since I'm able to play normally with most of the others.

I don't have anything helpful to add, but I can say that I have also experienced this on a few occasions. (Maybe three times since the start of the year.) I can't say for sure which shells it's occurred with, but I'm pretty sure I did experience it with the scallop at least once. I thought maybe I'd inadvertently clicked to start the game on my previous rounds (I only play when directed by Drills) and it was just continuing the game by taking me straight to the guessing, but it seems quite unlikely that I would have clicked start instead of just immediately exiting after making my choice.

Yeah I thought I accidentally clicked the link too fast too but when it happened again I knew it wasn't me. I only play it for Drills so I can't say if it happens normally. I've had some weird problems with Drills on and off so maybe it's a Drills problem and not the games themselves somehow?
