Hey! My name's Starra and I'm a completely new user (though technically I joined yesterday).

I'm still trying to get the hang of things around here but so far I'm enjoying myself! I like the atmosphere of this place. I also appreciate that it's collection-friendly and doesn't turn away completionists like myself, which is a problem I've had elsewhere. That said, I'm going to take it easy and not push myself to fill out the collections.

I've been using virtual pet sites on and off since I was a kid (I'm 28 currently) but I've only just stumbled across Subeta.

Outside of that, I'm into anime & manga as well as female Japanese idols (specifically Hello! Project). Even though I've been watching anime and reading manga since I was 12 or so, my favourite series is Attack on Titan. It's far from my first series, but it's the one that's stuck with me the most. But I've watched/read many things over the years and have thoroughly enjoyed a lot of them, including Yuri!!! on ICE, Kuroko's Basketball, Banana Fish, Free! and, more recently, the manga Children of the Whales.

Looking forward to getting to know my way around a bit more!
