How come sometimes when I'm in a battle, I'm not allowed to use any weapons? Sometimes it will be two battle turns before I can use weapons again, and then by then I"m out of health.

Any insight would be appreciated. This happens to me frequently.

Who are you fighting when this happens? There are some opponents that will freeze your pet. You cannot use any weapons or scrolls when your pet is frozen. You will know when you are frozen if there is a snowflake under your pet's health bar.
