I have an extra pet slot and I'm at a loss on what kind of pet to create! I have a heavy bias towards Montres, Kumos' and Telenines, but I'd love to know what some of your favorite species/color combos are for inspiration! :) Is there a color you think is underrated? One that you think is too popular/overused? Definitely interested in hearing your thoughts! :)

All the blobs in "ordinary" colors are wonderful, such as dawn, dusk, field, marsh, cherry, aqua, sun, etc. Instead of just being painted another color, these blobs have totally fresh designs.

it's so hard to pick one favorite when there are so many good ones that i love for different reasons! plus, every color/species conveys something different and is therefore suited to different pet concepts – which is the starting point i usually use for deciding what color/species to actually make a pet.

that said, i'm a sucker for cute sweet pink things so sweetheart is always lovely, and the elegant pastels of angelic are so pleasing.

the detail and colors make glade a frequent winner, and steamwork is so delightfully intricate.

on the darker side, graveyard can have some beautifully macabre artwork, and even bloodred has a delightful viciousness to it.

for the most part, i like to figure out what kind of look/personality i'm trying to achieve and then work from there to find the perfect color/species combo that conveys what i need it to. for instance, the reborn urubu may not be my favorite color/species combo, but the personality it conveys was perfect for one of my pets. other times, i have a color/species combo i really want and end up building a pet idea around that – like knowing i wanted a darkmatter legeica because i like the artwork, and creating a necromancer pet based on that.

in terms of recommendations for you, it looks like you already have most of the colors i would have suggested for your favorite species 😜

ALL THE BLOBS. I collect Blobs and I love them so much, lol. My favorite would probably be the Storm Blob. I just love the color palette and it's little frown. I also adore the Angelic, Spectrum, Graveyard, and Glade Blobs. Still need to get a Glade Blob.

Some favorites that aren't blobs are a couple of the Experiment pets. Even though I collect Blobs, I absolutely had to get and . They look so cool.

Reborn Kumos and Dark Matter Montres have been my faves since I was like 12, but the entire Reborn and Sweetheart range of colors for all the pets are just incredible, in my opinion. I have a soft spot for Bloodred Telenines because my favorite friend to RP with back in the day did so with one.

I'm also an enormous fan of the Glade pets in general. Kora is my favorite pet in that color scheme.

Honestly, it has to be the Glacier Demi for me - my main spoiled pet was one for many years until I decided it no longer fit her personality. I have a different Glacier Demi now, because I can't not have one. :') Seriously, love the chilling stare this guy gives.

I waited so long for the Glade Demi! My pet, Cattleya was always a glade at heart, but had to be dawn colored for so long! I'm still so pleased with how it turned out, too. Beans!

Dillemas are actually one of my least favorite species, but this one couldn't be cuter :) Besides being a balloon, I love its face! It looks like it's trying its best :D

Yes! it was one of my first pets for a reason lol, i still have my little Onnyx. close second would be most legeica colors, they just all look so pretty!
