I'd like to turn one of my pets Hydrus. I read the fan wiki on Merana and it led me to believe that she randomly moves around the Subeta map. Does that mean I have to hunt for her in the water? Or will she only appear in Omen Islands? Is there a track Merana thread/topic I couldn't find? Do I just have to manually search for her myself? Thank you for your help!

There's a ping group you can join to get a ping when someone spots her. I think folks have mainly been pinging on the group forum for sightings. I'm not seeing a public thread anymore unless I'm looking in the wrong forum lol

She shows up on the image of the map itself, so you don't have to poke around to try and find her. If she's around, you'll see her c:
