I was on lvl 2 on item hunter and it asked me for an item 71,000 sp.

Ouch. That does suck. But honestly, if it's only at Lv 2 I'd just quit and start over. Hopefully you'll get better luck on the next go through.

I did notice that in the first levels Chase tends to ask for items that cost way much more than the rewards. I don't know if it's done on purpose however, I still consider myself a noobie after 5 years!

Do quests if you haven't it doesn't forever to get that amount

71k is not hard to get if you do quests just saying :)

I don't know what kind of cache Item Hunt runs on but it's possible the item had been bought up for one reason or another and the price was inflated at just the wrong time. The same sort of thing happens now and then with regular quests too.

Like said, at level 2 you're probably better off just starting over

Yeah, I know that, thanks. Earning 71000 sP is easy. But in that case you should just keep the sP, not spend it on an item for Level 2 of Item Hunt, which as Piinksparkles said, only gives you 2000 sP in return.

My advice remains the same.
