Hi. Not sure if this was posted before, sorry if it was. Thought it might be a good idea to be able to move items from shop straight to donations, instead of inventory first.
No thanks. As someone who regularly fatfingers buttons (especially on phone), I'd hate to accidentally donate something I wanted to remove from my shop.
But...you can see where it goes from the scrolldown...
I can also see the little "Donate" and "Delete" pips in quickstock. I still deleted or donated items via quickstock on accident in the past.
Just because I see where my selected items will go doesn't mean that I won't accidentally end up ticking "remove all" while scrolling on mobile in my shop and donating an item I definitely wanted to keep while picking items I want to quickly donate. Or misclick in the dropdown and select "donate" instead of "inventory". And I can tell you right now, I am not the only one who'd do this. 😂
On the other hand, moving the item from shop to inventory gives me a little safety net to catch my mistake before I donate the item. Accidentally moving items to my vault or one of my other shops or galleries is much less frustrating than donating them on accident.
Not sure what you mean do you mean adding Donations option for Remove part for Edit Items for shops?
Looking for these : x100
In our shops, we have now the scrolldown to move an item or more to inventory or a gallery, right? I was thinking to add the donations option, instead of moving items in inventory and from inventory, move to donations.
Maybe it's just me being lazy, but once an item is in my shop, that item ain't leaving the shop till it's purchased or needed for a quest or the like. I can't think of a single time in the 13 years I've been here that I've ever removed an item just to donate it. Seems like extra work to code something that probably won't get used much and may cause accidents with more expensive items. I'm sure that some people may find it useful, but I do agree that I'd rather not have another way to accidentally get rid of a potentially expensive item.
