We can do it with Vesnali coins, you know? Put fifty Vesnali coins in, then you can take out a single 50 Vesnali Coin. I understand the idea of trading one trinket type for another should come with some sort of cost, so the 2:1 ratio isn't something I'd argue about. But would it be possible to put all of the Lounge trinket bags in the Lounge for a 1:1 ratio, and same with the Steamworks? Sending trinkets to someone one by one is an absolute nightmare, and the only way around it is to trade in twice the amount of the opposite trinket type. =(

I just save up bags I get from mystery dances/duels and gift those. But, still I agree that this would be simpler.

I don't like this that much. Masquerade is already very effortless with random dancing, so I don't think we need to have a SP option as well

I'm going to go against the popular opinion here and say that this suggestion defeats the purpose of there being two currencies for the holiday.

There is no reason for there to be split currencies at all if you can exchange them 1:1.

I think the better solution is to just merge the currencies into 1 instead of 2 if we're going to go this route.

The event should give more weight to Steamworks Trinkets than Lounge Trinkets because I think most people (and maybe I'm wrong) are turning their Lounge into Steamworks since there just isn't enough stuff to actually purchase in the Lounge unless you have a ton of gourmand pets (and I'm going to guess most people, like myself, only have one since there isn't achievements for having more than one.)

I'm not asking to exchange them, though, since we can already do that. I'm not arguing that the 2:1 go away if you're turning one type of currency into another. If you exchange Lounge for Steamworks or vice versa then yes, it makes total sense to pay for that luxury. I'm specifically asking for it to be possible to put Lounge trinkets into the Lounge, and then take them out again. Right now if I want Lounge trinkets out of my bank, I have to sacrifice twice the amount of Steamworks for the opportunity. Instead, I want to just.. be able to take the Lounge trinkets out that I already have. A 1:1 ratio specifically if you're taking a single currency out of it's own bank. As if you were taking Vesnali coins out. If I put Vesnali in, I can take Vesnali out. Or even the forum/raffle tickets, and how you can take those out if you want to. If I put Lounge in.. I want to be able to take them out without having to sacrifice Steamworks. I want to put 100 in and take 100 out without having to involve Steamworks in any way. I think we should be able to do the same with candy hearts and all the other holiday currencies, too. -- Unless I'm misunderstanding you, in which case sorry. x.x

And yeah, we get bags from mystery dancing, but that's really a different subject entirely. Those are great to have, I'm very appreciative of them and of course I try to hang onto those. But that's ultimately an unreliable source. And to be honest, even with those... I'd rather be able to throw them into my bank and take them out again if I want to, rather than needlessly hoarding them in my vault. I don't necessarily want to be given more bags (though I wouldn't complain if I was!), I just want to convert my 50/100/500 loose trinkets into a single bag.

I know I'm not the only one who doesn't want to put too much of a currency into its bank because I know I won't be able to take it out again if I need it for a different purpose. So in that regard I think it'd also be better for the server?

Then yeah I totally agree. If quite a few of the other currencies can already be pulled out, it makes sense these should be available for that too.

I was against this until you made it impossible to buy more than 7 items without a wait time. The bags are much more expensive in cash shops than individual trinkets are because of the price difference and now trying to buy a few hundred trinkets out of user shops is a nightmare because of this anti-hoarding thing. I mean I get it with non-currency items, but it shouldn't apply to items of r150 because nobody buys two steamworks trinnkets!
