I like to create pets in pairs. I've got a beloved OC I made a pet of years back, and now there's another connected OC I'd like to make. It bothers me if my pairs don't "match," though, so I'd prefer they have a real word legacy name.
I'm not picky here at all, I just want a one or two word legacy name that suits the character. Possibilities include words related to: science, anatomy, alchemy, knowledge, cold or bad weather, pale or cool colors, plants, brusqueness/aloofness, ill temper, loneliness, loss, grief, death, obsession, Victoriana.
A brief description of the character is behind the spoiler here in case you have pets you're looking to rehome and want to see if anything else jumps out.
SPOILER (click to toggle)
He's a scientist in a Victorian-esque fantasy setting. He developed a fascination with death and Frankenstein's monster type constructs at an early age, owing to the loss of his parents and his own sickly nature. This obsession, combined with his acerbic personality, ostracized him from his superstitious community. He eventually created a construct himself (that being Handstitched), but isolation and codependency strained their relationship, and they eventually parted ways.
His only real hobby, aside from putting dead things back together, is making botanical and anatomical drawings. He's incredibly bad at taking care of himself, and though he no longer creates human constructs himself, he ekes out a living on scholarly research and journals into the subject.
Species, gender, and age don't matter (though male would be nice). I don't want any numbers in it, but it's okay if it's a compound word, several words, a rare or archaic variant, etc.
Work that dance floor. They may vote you Mayor Jazz. One day have a plaque that says: "She wore the tightest of pants."
I've got Baby Aries and Shifting UFA
I've got Anyway (Jaded on my profile) wich might fit the aloof thing? Dunno, just tell me if interested.

Does 'Suppressed' do anything for you? It's the Legacy name behind this unfortunately monikered lad I just pulled from the AC -- [user not found]
I could see it potentially being relevant in a few ways, particularly as it might pertain to his ostracization and the nature of his pursuits.

[/box]Do you still have this one? I'm not seeing it, so I figure I'm too late, haha, but I'm interested if you do.
