Hi! I've been out of the loop for a good while now, and I don't really know the going rate for art stuff these days. I've really been enjoying doing overlays so I was wondering what might be a reasonable price. :>

examples!

Oof just looking at these previews gives me joy seeing such awesome art. I feel like depending on difficulty of the design and/or if you plan to do like shaded and nonshaded options I would say like $35-50? I know it’s a big gap and prob not helpful. But I went back to some of the other artist I’ve been stalking for quads and it seems like $35 was the lowest option I saw and around $50 being the highest I saw (for these particular artists only).

Oh wow thank you so much! To be honest even the lowest number is more than I would have guessed πŸ˜‚ shows how much I know about pricing these days.

Do you have any idea what that might translate to for sP/csc?

Your art is so cute and I hope to be able to get some coms some day!!!

That’s where I’m lacking. I have no idea what conversion rates people are using these days or the comparison from csc/so to USD I’m sorry!!

I would use your USD rate as your "hard" currency. Base how much sp/CSC you'll charge from there.

Right now 500 CSC cards are going for about 34m (this is the denomination I buy the most). So you could then use that for your sp/CSC pricing. However I think CSC had a big drop in value a few months ago (err forgot why) so it's a little more fickle than sP. Up to you on what you value the most.

Edit: Oop didnt realise how old this thread was. :)
