Ah yes, the undercutting festival.
That's a terrible idea, that would cause literally everything to crash
No! Sorry, but actively against this idea.
The autopricer already encourages this price dropping to jump out in front of the line. I don't generally support the site doing stuff to maintain the value of items but doing this would cause all items to spiral down in value with no way for corrections to happen naturally. Currently the only thing preventing the spiral is general laziness, people don't want to sit there and type in one sP less on prices and that's a good thing.

Nope. We have to think about what's fair to non-GA users too, though this isn't great for even GA users if we're honest.
Lmao, look... no.

It sounds good in theory until 500 people autoprice that way in one day and tank the item prices 😧
It wouldn't make sense as items would rapidly drop down in price if everyone was autopricing that way.
The way I see it, the current autopricing system works ok. The GA users can have their items priced at the lowest price, but they'll be the same price as every other item. The manual pricers can lower their prices by one sP and hopefully beat out the autopricers.
also items would sell much faster if it dropped down by 1 point

No they won't. And if you don't understand why, scroll up and read the posts above.
Seriously, I'm not sure if you just ignored them or if you genuinely don't understand.
If English isn't your first language or if you have a disability that makes reading difficult, then I apologize. But if you're just making this suggestion because you think it will make things in your shop sell faster, and you flat-out refuse to listen when people are trying to tell you why it will wind up hurting not only your shop but everyone else's, then I have a lot less sympathy for you.
Autopricing isn't about beating people, it's about saving time from hand pricing. You want to beat people's prices, you can do it by hand. There's got to be a payoff somewhere.
Huge no thanks.
Aside from the issues already mentioned, this is probably even LESS useful than the current autopricer because every person that uses it will be subtracting another 1 sP from the price, meaning instead of a list of 10 shops with an item all at 500 sP where your shop may or may not show up at the top, your new 499 priced item might be buried under 490, 491, 492, 493, 494, 495, 496, 497, 498 prices because you autopriced too early in the day, making sure to push your shop further down the page instead of having a chance for your shop to be at the top of the list like it is currently
They would sell so much slower if everyone could drop them by one point each lmao.
Instead of having 20 shops at equal price, I will perpetually be undercut by 20 SP.
To be honest I don't even think most users think about the price of items when buying stuff for quests anyway (likely the biggest source of buying items). I just buy, I don't even pay attention to whether it's "cheap" or not.. sometimes I even buy an item that isn't the cheapest..
For big items (idk, >1m), 1sp won't make a difference.
Items sell slow because there's just not as many users as there used to be. You'll notice an uptick in sales during a busy period (maybe Masq :)).
subeta should put up an option if people want to use it or not

We appreciate suggestions!
's summary of the problems it could create, however, is very much on-point; pricing spirals are going to do more harm than good in the long run. With that as an answer, I'm going to lock this thread. Thank you!
