I just think... it makes sense. I'm not particulary interested in collect and play with all the toys, but I guess , I'm not alone in the "use items that fits with your pet customization/personality" mode of pet customization, so,I think it would be nice yo have this added in the pets profiles to have more options to show the pet's character

Also, other people that are not me could collect all the toys.

I love the idea of anything that gives purpose to items other than questing.

Yep! I would be one of those trying to give ALL the toys to my pet.

I have a toy gallery. One of the reasons I started it was because of talk about making toy achievements. Would love to be able to remove my toys as a gallery and turn it into actually playing with my pets. But I don't want to kill my gallery and play with my pets until there's actually something that will display all my work.

What do you imagine the difference is between a Toybox and a Treasure Chest?

Not the OP, but in my mind there are two main differences:

1. It would a link - like the book and food eaten links (not pictures like the TC)
2. Its restricted to items that have the "play with pet" option. (rather than any item you choose, wearable, minion, etc. like in the TC).

Yes exactly. Unless I'm wrong, every item in the site with and special action allowed (eat, read, put in coleection etc.) has a thing that allows you to show you used it. The food are in the food eaten section, Book in the read book section" beanbags, plushies, stickers... al in their collection, but the toys, having a "play with X" special action does not, It seems a bit off.

Yes, PLEASE! There are so many cute, funny and rare toys and... Just go to waste, considering that having a minion will keep your pet happy

This is something that needs to happen yesterday, I imagine the coding process will take time but it will be so worth it

I think this would be cool specifically to show items the pet has played with! Currently we stick a minion on our pet to keep them happy all the time. But imagine, having to strategically plan your “toy pet”s happiness level like we plan around hunger. I would even make it so toys are consumed on using so they don’t flood the site so much. (*I have been informed that they are already used up!) If it’s just another place to store items like a TC I think that’s kind of pointless, and at that point might as well save staff the effort and just code a textbox onto your pet’s profile to stick item images in.

the toys are currently used up...but other than Major Drills quests, there's no reward to play with your pet. Adding a minion keeps it happy, so you don't even have to occasionally play with it like you have to feed it to battle.

Having a "collection" to show off, like foods eaten and books read would remedy that issue and give people a reason to collect and play with toys.

(I always feel weird about replying so quick but I was already online lol) but omg you’re right, I don’t know why I thought the toys weren’t used up! Maybe I was confusing it with another pet site, that’s too funny.

Ah but this would be just the start! Not just to display toys played with (I can code that into the pet profile myself), but once you have the list showing, then you can start adding achievements, titles, a high score list, etc...

I've really enjoyed doing the gourmand achievement, and keep feeding my gourmand pet new foods even though I'm way over the highest achievement level. I want the same fun with toys! And a new bathhouse pool to clear playing with, like the hunger pool.

Okay now you’ve got me excited & brainstorming for toy achievements, lol! “Have your pet play with these evil themed toys!” Achievement title: Come to the Dark Side (if we don’t already have that one)

I think it used to be that the toys weren't used up. They changed it somewhere along the way.

I would only want this if there was a way to clear your pet's toys (maybe with the Cleansing Pools) and start from scratch. All my pets except my battle pet I would like to have the toys they've played with be the same number, and I don't know if any of the ones I adopted have played with more than 250 (the number of books and foods they have) from previous users or not. In fact, I think people have suggested using the Cleansing Pools to clear books and foods as well.

agree that this would only be okay if we could completely clear the list or selectively remove items (which should be an option for the feed/books)

Yes to the cleasing option, not the first time I use the right item on the worng pet, I'm afraid, I'd certainly make good use of that, but that would be a different suggestion (I have the feling about seen a thread with that already but I don't know where)?

Also, I haven't though about the achievements related to the toybox, but it's just logical to come after if this happens! Let's have a little bringstorming about which one those could be given the case?
