Hello, today my pet “darkly dreaming Dexter” got a message

Oh No! You've reached the stat cap for this pet!

(it’s tier 13) and won’t let me spend any exp, and also it doesn’t show up in the training center, but it’s only level 4014, and the page says that training stops at level 5000.

Please help? Thanks!

This is a feature not a bug. The cap means you can't increase health, strength, defense or speed any higher for your pet. You can still increase intelligence and AP (highly useful) and level (useless at this point) using stat boosters or books.

If you want to get intelligence randomly from the job agency, keep collecting experience from battle wins or see your pet in the training center just use the stat reducers in the battle token shop to remove a few stat points. You could also use the stat reducers if you don't like your final build and want to remove points from one stat so you can train or boost another stat.

Congrats! Hitting the cap is a big achievement.

that's because tier 13 is the maximum tier! excluding level, your pet's stats can add up to a maximum of 35,000. you've hit that cap, and therefore cannot increase any of those stats anymore. if you wanted to change their stat distribution, you would have to use leeches to reduce one stat so you could increase another.

Wow I didn’t know that, I feel a bit embarrassed! I had no idea there was a hard set point max other than the 5000 level one so that’s why I thought I glitched. Doing the facepalm now! I’m sorry! I actually looked at the recent battle forum topics to see if anyone else was having problems… d’oh!

Thank you both very much for clearing it up for me. I am going to adjust a couple of the numbers using those reducers as you say. Then I suppose it’s time to battle quest another one!
