So I currently have my loyalty box in my inventory and when I checked out the Rift,this came up...
Somehow I don't think that's supposed to be an option.

I don't think this is technically a bug, since they are actual viable options to throw into the rift (as far as I can tell).
You might want to make a suggestion topic to see if they will remove certain items/rarities/values from the pool of items shown.
As a side note, I have several loyalty boxes LOCKED in my inventory and none of them showed up (nor did the other locked items). So locking them might be the better option here, to prevent accidental usage.
