Hey everyone! I'm absolutely clueless about battling. My pet seems to be at Tier 8 right now and I'm still using her T7 set so I'd like to know how I can improve it. I've been following the weapons rec post but it's fairly old so I don't know if it's the best. I'm struggling a lot against the Gellashell so I'm pretty sure I'm doing something wrong lol. I'm open to expensive stuff but I'd also appreciate some cheaper alternatives too just in case.

What scrolls do you have?

honestly I never really understood scrolls but a friend told me I should get Shriek of Despair so I have that one, I also have Lava Arma and Poisonous Barrage but don't really use them

Scrolls are basically just another row of weapons! How many you can equip at a time depends on your pet’s AP (intelligence/16).

Generally you want one infinite use (IU) scroll that heals and the rest of your AP filled with once per battle (OPB) scrolls. The most affordable IU scroll right now is Feather Explosion, but most people like to aim for getting an Aftershocks at some point. Shriek of Despair is a really nice OPB scroll because it freezes. Some other good ones are Morosbane (attacker), Cobalt Eternal or Sancturia Exodin (defense), Fatal Fire (attack+defense), and Gift of the Forj (healer).
