This is for my Ruffie, which I have named and designed after my real-life service dog, while also trying to keep to the Ruffie look for the most part. I am most of the way done, I still have to fix up the eyes and get in shadows around the nose and put "Service Ruffie" on his little vest, but I am too tired to continue for tonight.
I would love any feedback and critique, I'm a long time artist, I can handle it.

awww its so cute! and definitely has the ruffie look!
what sticks out to me is the blended/soft face in contrast to the otherwise flat body; it's a little distracting artistically, so I'm wondering if it could be better balanced if you added some softer shading to the rest of the body. or even just where the paws and legs are. I do like how you painted the face, so I wish I could see it replicated elsewhere.
or maybe even just adding a slight gaussian blur to the lineart could give it a bit more depth.
