please help me determine a good price for my art...
because the prices i have now sound fair to me,
but not everyone can afford it...possibly...

I always encourage people to price according to the time it takes. If a piece takes you one hour, start at around minimum wage. (Here that's $12.) If it takes you two, double that, etc. And if it makes you feel like you'd then be asking for more than you're comfortable asking for, I always recommend finding something that takes you less time and offering that, until you get quicker / feel more comfortable asking for more on the stuff that takes more time.
Personally, I think your art is nice but the reason I wouldn't ask for a slot is because of the lack of examples. You have a few examples, but they're all different styles and so I'm not sure what I'd receive back from you.
I highly recommend specializing in one or two things and offering 3 or more examples of each type. (So for example, I think your meme sticker is really cute and would be a good sell around here since it is a pet site, so maybe 3 examples of that?)
You can always offer / add more later. But starting with fewer options and having a good show of what that means you'll make should help :)
thank you so much for your help! ;w; that sticker was the first of its kind of me using a new art applications... so ill have to make more if i need more examples, i mostly draw humans so yeah, i guess thats why i dont get much foot traffic on a pet site.... makes sense... but some people out there have human forms of their pets as characters in stories (like i do) but yeah. i understand. thank you for your time!
If you'd prefer to stick to working on humans I'm sure you'd get traffic there too :) I just used the meme sticker as an example!
I think it just needs a bump - or to open it up brand new! The last post was ~5 months ago and while that's not a technically a necro if it is bumped, it has fallen off the first page. I personally won't post in a thread if it's not been active in the last couple weeks to a month. I had a browse through your thread and would just suggest making a new one and posting the work you did for others as examples. 500-1k seems like a price that should be flying off the shelves so I really think it's just time for a lil facelift.
