Is her appearance a possible plot coming soon? I'm curious.

It's possessor Liara, not professor c: The theme for monthly-ish challengers in the last year or so have been NPCs being possessed by an entity who we just found out is Liara. Here is the news post for the most recent possessed character, Maleria (and the cash shop challenger that goes with her).

I personally expect a small event to do with Liara trying to fight Shinwa, but not a full-on plot. That said, we technically don't know until it happens or someone on staff confirms one way or the other

Artists blew her design out of the park. I love the little magic in the background too.

However my battle pet is far too under leveled to go fight her. So I will wish everyone else luck

An event of some kind was my first thought at seeing that post too. I don't know if my battle pet (Felinah) is good enough to kick her magical ass though.
