so, my question is, for those who intend to burn a lot of sp, is the [item=30% discount card] worth the purchase? does it work for all main shops? quest shop? special currency shops like seasonal ones and loyalty shop? millionaire center?

Tricky question! I only have the 20% card as I don't want to fork out for the 30% (they don't stack, and I'm still trying to sell/trade my 10% card), but the 30% card probably would be worth it over time. A lot of time.

It [b]only[b] works for main shops. It won't affect anything else (not the MC, QS, SubQ, any currency shops, or the Antique Shop, or anywhere else). You will have to restock/quest a lot to make it worthwhile.

I got my discount cards second-hand so the count started wrong (it told me I'd saved 53m when I first bought the 10%), but it now says 76m nearly 1.5 years later, so I seem to have saved 23m. Not bad, if true. Alternatively, it may just be measuring wrong.

The discount cards only work in the main shops. If you plan to do a ton of restocking, with the current SS price of the 20% card (~100m) then I would say to just go for the 30% card.

I've had a 20% discount card for years (not sure how many, at least 6-7 I'd say though) and I haven't saved 150m with it yet, even with a glitch at one point that added too much "saved" sP to my total for a while. I have recouped the amount that I spent on the card multiple times, but I only spent about 20m for it. With the current price (of either the 20% or 30% card) I wouldn't personally bother buying one now.

That said, I don't do all that much restocking, personally. I know that other people have shared that it took them far less time to recoup the costs of their discount cards in the past, so it can still be worth it if you plan to do a lot of restocking. If you restock pretty casually, I don't think it's really worth it at the current price

I've had my card for close to 10 years or something like it, not an avid restocker, but I still haven't made back the original cost, so imo unless you get one for a significant discount, it's probably not worth it.

Wow. I always knew it wasn't worth it for that cost, but I appreciate finally having some numbers to put against that steep price tag + confirmation that its only in the main shops.
