Like when I put a pet through, if I'm lucky enough to get one will it spit back out then and there.

Cause I know you can get nothing, a riftborn, or a rift experiment. I just don't know the flavor texts for each outcome. I got the "Oh no it swallowed your pet. Maybe you should wait a bit..." flavor text so I'm assuming this go was not it.

You'll ALWAYS get your pet back - if it has a riftborn colored version it will become it, if not it will become a rift experiment/creature
