Is the only place to view your current rank from your trophies on your profile?

You can also get there via: Explore dropdown>Games>'High Scores' at the top of the page>'old high scores table' at the bottom of the page

That seems to only be the top users. I was wondering how to see my own(Im definitely not on the top).

You can go to Games > High Scores > View Your Scores and at the bottom there is a link to see your own scores from the old system.
