Hello, I've been slowly training my pet more or less just to have something extra to do during events and SAI job but towards the end of the last I chose violence and started taking battling more seriously and managed to grind up my main pet to tier 10. I just sorta bullshitted my way up here and now I'm not sure where to go from here.

weapons

  • I have lying around as well

scrolls

also for mods. I've just been smacking into everything, idk what's actually good for what weapon lmfao;;

stats if they are needed Level: 733 Health: 1812 / 1816 Strength: 1744 Defense: 1439 Speed: 1408 Intelligence: 2103 AP: 131

thank you o/

Ehhh... are you willing to spend? You're more or less at the point where if you want to be efficient with your violence, you begin collecting end game weapons, which are pricey. TheSovereign's end game weapon guide is pretty useful for this. He doesn't mention Prodigy's Eyeball, but it's a fair water blocker that's affordable until you're T12 and can earn/use a Manifesting Weapon.

His scroll thread since your pet has a ton of intelligence. Basic rundown would be you've outgrown Divine Denizhen, can replace Perilous Whirlpool with better freezing scrolls like Shriek of Despair, Morosbane can be upgraded to Lucky, and if you have money left over replace Feather Explosion with Aftershocks or Ocean Currents. It's handy to have a lot of freezers and/or Gifts of the Forj scrolls depending on the fight. Blocking scrolls like Cobalt Eternal and Sancturia Exodin are useful in fights where you can't heal.

Parched Baguettes have a 10% chance to give you a blessing that prevents freezing for five turns, and add two icons of damage. They're a good basic mod. The other basic cheap mods to use are Blessing of Natural Armor (10% chance to block freezing and stealing for two turns) and Critical Strike (+5% critical strike chance). Just buy those from the battle shop for battle tokens instead of from user shops where they're weirdly inflated. A cheap crystal that adds some icons and has a chance to curse There's various grades of mod crystals in almost all the elements (no ice, for unknown reasons). Marquise are the second best, and offer extra damage and a chance to curse at a fairly reasonable price. SubetaLodge will have the actual numbers. Freezing mods to add a bit of freeze chance if you want. They also come in all grades, but marquise (second best) and eyes of royalty (best) are probably the only ones really worth considering if you want to mod +freeze chance.

Honestly, I mod a lot of my weapons Parched Baguette, BoNA, Critical Strike, and either Singed Baguette or a marquise crystal. Partly because I'm cheap, and partly because you lose mods if you take weapons out of your armory to lend or wear.

honestly stuff like the mc weapons seem like a doable goal even if it's gonna take ages, just wanted to make sure the guide is the right to follow cause my dumb ass already wasted sP away on stuff before when blindly following other people's posts haha but hey that's on me for not digging deeper. so hook swords it is now i guess

thank you! this helps a ton

Yeah, we be.. um.. of many opinions about the 'best' way to do early tiers. Choices thin out at end game though, because it's driven mostly by healing and block icons.

I'd say you've done a pretty good job so far.

You could consider grabbing a Maleria's Cursed Arm Bangle and a Prodigy Eyeball if you want a quick "cheap" upgrade, but otherwise you do eventually win both. I still like the Hooked Swords for T10 though if it's a medium-term goal. The New Gelatin Slapper Hand god weapon is also a solid earth blocker, but I think it's still pretty rare.

Is there a specific opponent where you need Prodigys Eyeball? I kinda boosted my way through those teirs and already owned a SoSS and MW from way back so that was probably a blindspot for me when I was writting the guide.

Although looking at it, it's cheap and powerful enough that it maybe deserves a mention either way. It was probably still expensive when I wrote the guide.

Crawbeast comes to mind, along with Menecuda. But also Surge, Mornrise Serpent, and Sandragon if those are still an issue at T10. SoSS is way out of reach for most players and waiting to earn your own MW might be a better option if players still have other end game weapons on their shopping lists. Prodigy’s Eyeball is a relatively cheap and reasonable weapon to tide a user over.

Oh I realize it's out of reach (I've also since sold my SoSS) which is why I'm saying it was a blindspot for me.

I went through the guide just now and updated it a bit, and I think Prodigy's eyeball is probably just the best budget option right now regardless of what it blocks.
