obv we have a ton of staff and student outages bc of covid but this week has just been wild yesterday 2 classrooms down a pipe exploded and the room flooded so, so quickly. a bunch of stuff got ruined including the teachers shoes which the district should reimburse her for!!! but she wont press them on nonacademic stuff ANYWAY its a huge fuckin mess and as a result almost none of the toilets work anymore, and wont until next Tuesday at the earliest. that classroom is off limits so the class now has to learn in the library, meaning no one else can use the library. today we learned that we are just about out of copy paper. like out. and cant get more due to supply chain issues. no one has a plan. we have plenty of soap but the automatic soap dispensers are all broken in some way. most simply will not dispense soap but some of them dispense soap 2-4 times every time u put ur hand under. not that it matters because we havent been able to use my sink since november anyway. they were gonna fix it over break but they didnt. who needs to wash their hands? not small children during a pandemic! but it's fine!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! its fine.
man i love when things just become a jenga tower of bullshit
Ugh I'm sorry, that sounds so shitty :/
Omg that sounds like a nightmare! At the very least, the soap dispensers should’ve been fixed by now.
In my district, we’re so short staffed, there’s no one running the main offices. The superintendent is in classes teaching, as well as the entire office for my preschool department.
But omg I can’t imagine flooded classrooms and no working sinks
