This snowball has been on my HA for several hours (close to 8 hours) . Also, there was no event notification of it being thrown by anyone. Has anyone else had issues??

Until you commented asking me, , I hadn't noticed the snowball stuck to my face. I don't know when it appeared - no notification of having one thrown at me - except that it was some time before your comment, apparently? And it's been hours since your comment.

Thanks for posting!! It took me hours to start a topic because I rarely start topics, and I'm glad I finally did. This definitely needs to be fixed, lol!! And glad to know that you didn't get an event notification either, cause it's consistent.

Not technically the same issue, but it's also a snowball malfunction: is it possible that some snowballs don't show up on avatars at all? Like the Bearded Snowball doesn't seem to show up on any of the random avatars I've been throwing at?

You don't get a "formal" event that shows up on the dashboard event. You get a small pink banner across the top of the screen and once you navigate away its gone, so its easily missed.

Yeah, I'm not even getting that.

I'm also having the issue where the snowball will stay on my HA for hours. Only way I can get it to go away is if I go in the wardrobe and resave. Kinda frustrating >_<

YES, I believe I've seen a notice above but then no snowball on me (and I'm very happy to have nothing blocking the HA's face.

I really don't like the snowballs!! (I had real life issues with being bullied by aggressive kids using snow and ice to attack me in a number of ways, it was LONG ago but some things stick with a person)

Yes, I always have to go to the wardrobe and refresh there, too, to get rid of the snowballs. Otherwise, they are stuck for the whole day and longer.

Do you need a snowball reflecting shield? I can send you one. they aren't 100% effective, but they'll reflect most of the snowballs that get yeeted at you. I have the opposite problem. I want to see the different snowball effects on my HA, but half of them seem broken.

ah, seeing that this isn't an isolated issue makes me feel a bit better! when switching HAs earlier i forgot about the shield, got hit by a snowball almost immediately (i did get the notification), used the dryer, & several hours later... yeah, still there. thanks for the tip about refreshing in the wardrobe! hopefully this gets fixed soon, 'cause i can imagine doing that repeatedly might get tedious by spring. 😅 running the latest version of Chrome on Windows 11 if that's needed!

Thanks so much for the offer. I actually HAVE one (lol) it was in my wardrobe all along--huge senior moment(S) that I forgot about the existence of that item. It's now hiding behind my background. Whew!!
