Hi everyone! My birthday is on Saturday the 8th. I wanted to make some sort of raffle during Lumi but I was not able to in time, so I wanted to create a raffle for my new birthday item instead. What I want for my birthday is to listen to new music, so to enter the raffle for a chance at a free copy, please post any song.
I listen to the same handful of songs I already know over and over and have no idea how to find new music, so I can almost guarantee I will have never heard the song you're posting. You can post your favorite song, a new song you just discovered, anything. You do not have to know me or my musical tastes, anything will do. After the raffle ends I will be pinging for and releasing this item on my main thread.
Though this item is rather personal to me, both the design of the cat in the icon and the description - I am a longtime fan of cws that are black, have studs and hanging strings and such. So I wanted to create my own and share it with you. This is also my first free cw raffle!

So, a little back story before I post a link to the song: I was watching TikTok about a week or so ago (maybe longer? RL has been stressful with headaches and dr appts so..... mind's a little foggy on that part) and I came across this tribute video with this song. The tribute video was so sweet yet also very sad. BUT the song itself... it spoke to me, and is now one of my top fave songs (ok, so like, I have LOTS of FAVE songs.... when someone asks what my fave song is I'm stumped because I have soooooooooo many and they're all so good and they're all from different stages of my life and it's like, "Um....." while internally I'm all, "UGH....".) I lost my Mom, it'll be 3 years in Feb, and her birthday was the 20th of this month (she'd be 58 if she was still here on this earthly plane) and it's been rough during the holidays and stuff and what with her birthdate and deathdate coming closer, so.... I feel like this song fits perfectly with missing her.
((Oh yeah... I am giving back story because, some people honestly don't like this singer and some do, so....))

ALSO! I am excited to see everyone else's songs because I'm looking to add more music to my Spotify playlist and I figure I might just find a song or two.... or more, to add to jam and sing along to on a daily.
