With Keith ill and the revamped Mysterious Melody delayed, I saw a post by on the News post suggesting that maybe Mysterious Melody shouldn't be a lumi thing anyway.

I kind of agree? Lumi is such a busy time anyway. People are already sending each other gifts! On top of everything else that happens during Lumi (trees, ornaments, snowtapult, melody every day) I think MM could be shunted to another holiday.

I think it'd be cute to put it with Vesnali. Vesnali is spring/easter and the spirit of the "new" MM could be related to that. :)

Or it could be it's own thing in summer (a very quiet time). Like MM "week"? A week of giving? unsure.

I would like to see it during whatever time of year there's the least going on so we could have fun focusing on that and just call it something else. :)

The summer does seem nice. But with all the errors that have popped up the last few holidays I'm wondering if right now the lull of events in summer would give the staff time to fix all the other features that need fixing......

Honestly, there isn't that much going on during Lumi? You don't really change your tree a whole lot during the event, same with ornaments (we didn't even get anything new this year)

You go to the Advent Calendar, which is a big 30 seconds per day. Yes, you buy each other gifts already, but people usually do it all year - I don't know anyone who doesn't plan ahead

There are a lot more active holidays, Luminaire...is really more passive than Vesnali, where we already have to hunt down for flowers, both for currency and bouquets. Vesnali really is busy compared to Luminaire.

I like the idea of it as an additional New Year activity, I'm not really sure about summer because they're already trying to fill it with Neugarten and the Quest-a-thon and they also said something about having the Free Shop during then from now on as well.

No. Mysterious Melody should stay as it is, It's always been a part of Luminaire.

There is a little part of me that wonders about a "Luminaire in July" type event to test out Mysterious Melody 2.0...before it reverts to Luminaire again this year?

I think it's fine for Mysterious Melody to stay as a winter-based event/feature. Sure, it can start on the first day of December together with Luminaire, but I wouldn't mind extending it during January as well. Gives users something fun and interactive to do until Survival starts.

Mysterious Melody should stay the way it is otherwise the name should be changed
