missing melody items

I'm assuming this is the correct place to bring it up but I was really looking forward to two of the melody items aka theSPOILER (click to toggle)
ice skates and the sloth]
I think some items simply weren't released this year or have another purpose (i.e. Mysterious Melody). One item I'm looking forward to - a specific vest - has information listed yet.
now that I look closer that makes so much sense. I totally forgot about those other items. I'm looking forward to actually participating in MM this lumi/january. loll
Well, I noticed that I think the items that are intended for MM had the Holiday Item rarity, while Melody items usually have the Melody rarity. The two items mentioned in the OP have the Melody rarity, so I also assumed they were going to be given out through Melody's Cottage, but yeah we never got them.
Also Arte, you may want to put spoilers in the title and first post regarding the items, just because they haven't officially been released yet.
Maybe there was a miscount? Either to do with which items were supposed to go out through the trees, or if it was uncertain if there would be Darkheart Phantom or not (I know at least one year didn't have him). I hope this can be cleared up soon because I don't think they were intended for MM since as people have said, the other items for MM have a different rarity. And I hope we can still obtain these items somehow.

These two items were not intended for MM and were originally supposed to be for Melody, which is why they were added in the same chunk as the other items (and with that rarity) but weren't used. I'll be using them for something else though and just won't change the information until then. :) You will still be able to get them, don't worry!
