What are decent stats to start with? What are some good beginner weapons? Anything else you would like to share.

Don't feel overwhelmed with all the info, it's actually quite simple once you get the hang of it!

Quests guide has actually been out of date for a while now, and many of his sets don't even work anymore due to healing restrictions, ect.

These are the 2 guides that I think would probably help you get started the fastest that I wrote. They focus more on weapon/scroll selection than how to actually battle. The Useful Battle Lings from above is probably better if your having trouble with actually battling.
