hello! i'm not new, but i haven't actively played subeta in years, lol. once in a while i'll poke at it (usually during luminaire or when a friend tells me about an event lol) but i feel a little more invested this time around, so i thought i'd poke my nose into the forums again and say hi :D

while i'm here, i thought i might ask: are there any basic subeta etiquette things i should know? the only other pet site i play is flight rising, and i last remember the etiquettes being drastically different across both sites lol. are there any basic things (about the site or the forums/community) that are good to keep in mind while interacting and stuff?

Hey, welcome back from your hiatus! I've not yet played Flight Rising but I've heard of it, and I've only been here a little under 2 months but so far the community and forums have a very friendly, generous and laid back feel. Have yet to have an unpleasant interaction so far. Can't speak on trading as I've yet to do any.

As for the site, it's hard to figure out what to mention since I don't know what you already know, but if you think of any particular questions feel free to PM or ping me :) What do you think your main focuses here are? Pets, HA customizing, battling, collecting, achievements, etc?

(oh also, the background i'm using is "vaporwave vinyl"! so happy i found it, i love the aesthetic lol)

i'll be honest, i don't even know what i know or don't know LOL. i only ever played with one or two of my friends, so my knowledge is limited to what they know, and neither of them really interacted with people here either :'D i do appreciate the offer for pms though! i'm always happy to make new friends and have people to talk to about common interests o/

as for focuses, i think my greatest focuses coming back are finding nice pets & HA customizing! though i'm happy about the new name system (flight rising is like that, no names are unique), i realized i was always super happy/attached to the legacy names of my pets :'D sad i can't get confirmed legacy names of some pets that currently don't exist lol. so i might poke around to find some nice ones UFA or something!

though with HA customizing i feel weird because i'm not the type to change my avatars much anywhere unless i'm doing a complete revamp lol. like when i remade mine this time around (my last one was 3 years old or something like that???), i splurged to make sure i got stuff i'd be happy with in the long term C: i dunno, i just like it being one-and-done and not having to worry much about it! though i DO like designing HAs, so i might go play around in the wardrobe to make miscellaneous outfits to save and not use |D

sorry about the wall ksjdghs i'm excited to get to talk to people about stuff :'D but let's not just make this about me, what about you? what things have you gotten into in your time here? i'd love to hear! <3

Appreciate the background name! Glad it's in a special shop. I realized a few weeks in those seasonal tokens/trinkets can be bought instead of waiting all year for the event so that brings the price from 650k to 375k. Much more agreeable on my current wallet. Hell, less if I do lounge trinkets into the steamworks.

LOL that's a general mood. You're definitely already on a good track with the pets since they're currently pretty badass :) I'm also mostly focusing on increasing my pet slots before anything else big. I'm soo glad there's such a high max considering I love a ton of the species and colors.

Yeah I seemed to very much miss the train on the legacy pet thing, but I'm also thankful I don't have to name a pet xXxraz0r23xXx or something LOL. I'd love to grab a cool adoption pet but I've noticed compared to NP there's rarely many if any in the center. A friend of mine snagged an adorable experiment pet though, so I'm sure my day will come.

Nah I get that with the HAs, it's up to you how much you feel like changing things up. And smart to get stuff that you get good, long use of and mixes with everything else. The designing part is pretty fun with how many options there are :) I've been casually making some cosplay ones for kicks, though I've got the Zhaan one active right now. Spent too much on the dang skin not to show it off some haha.

jghedfjghlfhg yer fiine, I appreciate some juicy convos and I've been using the site to try forcing myself into being more consistent socially active. Watch me just end up ignoring everyone irl and my texts even worse instead of improving instead xP I'm really appreciating the little friendships I've been making here though of course :) I figure it's good practice as there's a pretty positive vibe and there's less pressure from myself or others to reply back, which makes it easier for me to. Sucks, that :P I have people I've been meaning to hit up for weeks, one of them a few months >_> Just too much guilt for popping up and disappearing for a long time and no idea what to say. Ummm let's see! Well I'm loving making the pets, the treasure chest thing is super cool and helps make them feel more fleshed out. My Zhaan pet is rocking near 80 somehow already. I got a pet for zapping purposes but I like the species I'm on too much, woops! Not sure when I'll bite the bullet and swap. I'm enjoying all the collections but I usually just use the quests to help me fill them out. Achievement hunting is always fun for me, I've got 494 in under 2 months ;D Anything with cute and wildly varied customization always pulls me in so of course I'm enjoying the HA aspect. And honestly giving shit away has been a very satisfying aspect of the game, lots of generosity all around and it's fun to take part. I'm being a stubborn fool and going for that 250M in shop till achievement right now so I'm mostly living off of quest sP.

good luck maxing out pet slots!! <3 i noticed it seemed like the max got higher! i'm relieved too, especially with the name change. i'm trying very hard to not make pets of my various ocs now LOL

ooooh cosplay HAs sound fun!! i never thought of that before 🤔 i did contemplate trying to make one of my ocs, but i doubt i could pull it off without CWs x_x ah well, could still be fun to try. i dunno who zhaan is but i applaud you for the effort regardless!! there are just so many options, it seems like it's just as difficult to find something as it is to cosplay IRL LOL
