For players: How long have you played Stardew? Have you played the older ones? Who do you usually marry? Have you finished the game? What's your favorite thing about Stardew?

My answers: About a month. Not yet but soon! I married Shane Not yet. There is SOOOOO much to do, I am obsessed with Harvest Moon, I've literally bought every single game. But with stardew, there is so much more and fun interacting things I can do. Quests, Island, more kids, cooking more stuff, like literally every item you can do something with. LOVE IT! <3

I've been playing for aroundddd 5 years now? I was a big shan-ie when i started out but after a couple saves i moved onto alex. It's been a pretty even split between the two of them since and now I'm finally forcing myself to romance other villagers for the story :" p i'm married to sam in my most recent save! I technically finished the game a couple times before the island got added! but not 100% just the main story... but that's where my favourite thing comes in (which is the same as yours)! It can literally take years to actually get through the entire game and there's always more being added! and even once you do finish up there's still the decoration aspect that makes it fun : ) (plus personal challenges like seeing how far you can get in the mine in one go!) it really just never gets boring

How long have you played Stardew? I've been playing since April 2016, so for most of the game's lifetime! I had a particularly stressful job back then, so I was grateful to come back home to Stardew Valley as it's so relaxing and fun.

Have you played the older ones? Nope! I'd never really played anything like it before.

Who do you usually marry? On my original save, I first married Sam. I liked him because he was a musician like me - unfortunately the emphasis is on "was"! I was a little saddened to find out that he kinda lost a lot of his personality (and lost the motivation to play his guitar) after marrying him. So I eventually divorced him, then wiped his memory so we could be friends again, and married Elliott. I like that he is another character with creative hobbies, and it turned out he had a lot of good dialogue when married to him! So on my original save, we're still happily married. I have since started two more saves - one in co-op with my brother, and another solo - and I'm considering marrying Abigail with one of my characters because she's another character that stood out to me (I love that she's a gamer and she has a pet guinea pig - awesome!). So yeah.

Have you finished the game? I had done but since then they have added more endgame content and I'm unsure if I've done it all yet. Mostly because in more recent years I've been focusing more on my newer characters. I have earned all of the Steam achievements, at least.

What's your favorite thing about Stardew? I love games that never really end; you can go back to them again and again. It's the kind of game that you can "escape" into after a rough day (as mentioned earlier, my day job was really awful back when I got this game) and there are so many sidequests and different things to do that you don't get bored easily either. The game is also full of secrets - some of which are hilarious.

My favourite secret: you know the quest where you have to find Lewis' underwear and return it to him? Well, if you choose to keep his underwear, you can put it on display at the fair (on 16th Fall) and Lewis has special dialogue when he sees what you have done! >:D

I absolutely love Stardew Valley! Sadly I don't own a switch, so I just play on pc. Anyway, here are my answers.

How long have you played Stardew? It's been around 3 or 4 years since I discovered the game. I have over 800 hours in it now... whoops!

Have you played the older ones? Nope!

Who do you usually marry? The first time I married Sebastian, because we both love geeky stuff. On my other saves I've married Leah and Haley, but I have to admit I'm starting to like Sam and Emily a lot as well. I haven't married the same bachelor/bachelorette on multiple saves. Changing it up is half the fun!

Have you finished the game? Yes. I recently achieved 100% perfection on my forest farm.

What's your favorite thing about Stardew? There are a lot of things to love. The main things for me are the soundtrack and the farm animals. I love the chickens and ducks in particular. Oh, and I like that you can place decorations practically anywhere.
