I am not "wearing" any limbs at all, yet they still show, what do I do?!
the empty spaces are showing because you're using a background with a cutout
either fill in the gaps or stop using backgrounds with cutouts if you don't have your regular limbs
ehm...cutouts? I'm using Lava-Filled Dragon Stone as a bg
got it, I wear an other bg under that one. no idea why they show or what cutouts are yet :D
Older backgrounds had HA-shaped cutouts because they couldn't be moved behind the base. So even if you have a limb turned off, they still will show that hole because it's just a hole in the background item. Examples:
Newer backgrounds do not have an HA-shaped cutout so can be used more easily in HAs with unique limbs. Examples:
The older backgrounds had to leave space for the HA base because you couldn't move the base layer. These are called cutouts. If you hover over a background item with a cutout it will show your base on the hover.
If you hover over a newer background, like the one below, you don't see the avatar base, just the background. To use limb removal properly, you need to use a newer background. Otherwise you need to "fill-in" the empty HA shaped space so it doesn't show.
If you layer something similar colored below the background you can fill in the "blank" space.
So just removing limbs you get something like this: by Lypsyl
Fill in with a different background and you get this: by Lypsyl
You will want to experiment with different backgrounds or items that cover up the white spaces.
