How exactly does the "This week is week x" work?

At the bottom of the homepage now it says "This week is week 44. View recent weeks: 39 | 40 | 41 | 42 | 43"

When I click on week 39 for instance, it then says "This week is week 42." But it's week 44 now and I'm looking at week 39. Neither of those is 42. And again if I click on week 34, it changes to "This week is week 37."

I don't understand how exactly this works lol. Is it broken?

When you click on the number in the links "View recent weeks: 30 | 31 | 32 | 33 | 34 | 35 | 36 | 37" You're brought to "https://subeta.net/news.php?week=X number"

The number correctly corresponds to the week number of this year which you can verify with this: Source: Some random chart I googled

So I would say only that text that says "This week is week X" is broken, those other links do work correctly. But if you want, you can make a thread in P&B asking a programmer look at that upper text portion.
