This one could have been in the bug forum just as well really

I noticed that if you post in a pinned topic (one of those with a star in front of the name that are locked to the top of the list) the post is not counted as the most recent post of that section of the forums. I get that a significant amount of pinned topics are staff posts that are either locked or don't need people posting there constantly. But there's also pinned topics like Human Avatar Item Identification III that would benefit from the extra traffic that most recent post gets you.

Here's me petitioning to allow pinned topics to show up as most recently posted. Or maybe for different classes of pined topic to be created ,one that does show up as recently posted (Important thread with lots of user engagement) and one that doesn't (important staff post).

I would be down for this suggestion with a caveat. Because post limits are 1k, it would be nice if pinned topics which is done by staff had an extended post limit. Driving additional post interaction is great but remaking boards is a pain.
