Welcome everyone to a new fun holiday event! Don't need to be a member of the Menagerie group to take part, this is for anyone who is interested! This is to be a Secret-Santa"esque" event where you sign up to create a profile, overlay or story for someone else's pet and receive something for one of yours! Its meant to be a fun event to inspire us and get those creative juices going!

TIMELINE October 29th to November 12th @ 3pm - Signups are open! November 15th - Sent information via gift center of your giftee. December 20th - Gifts to be given via sMail or Gift Center

1. Please sign up using the form below.
2. For this event be prepared to complete one of the tasks you sign up for in the form. Be it one profile, overlay or story. Only ONE (1) needs to be completed, if you go above and beyond that is up to you.
3. You must adhere to the theme given to you for your given person's pet.
4. Stories must be at least 1000-1500 words.
5. Profiles must work and be complete with fonts, colours and banners.
6. Overlays must be created within the site rules. (i.e Tribute items need 4 changes)
7. Gifts will be given via gift center or sMail on December 20th, 2021.
8. Please be responsible, if you are unable to give your gift in time please let me know.

I ADORE this idea! I can't wait to make someone a nice gift! <3 The site gave me some troubles with staying motivated with working on my pets, so this is deeeeeply appreciated, haha.

Ah I'm so glad you like the idea! We've done a few story exchanges in the past and people seem to enjoy them so I'm opening this up so everyone can partake and have some fun. I'm starting this early cause it takes a bit to organize and to give people time to work on things. c:

Do recolors count for an overlay?

I would say recolours with a bit of custom changes if possible. Something to excite people, just want it to be fair and about as equal as the other 2 options.

That I would consider more just a more advanced recolour using a star brush. Was thinking a little more customized if possible like this:

Its clearly using the base of a tigrean but has some custom accessories/changes added to it. Nothing super complicated. Just want to make sure its a fair gift exchange for everyone involved.

This sounds like fun! I entered three pets, so I assume whoever gets my name has a choice between the three? Can I also swap with two others?

Yep! By entering 3 it gives people options so that way they can potentially work with a pet that inspires them most. If you want to change the pets you put on the form, please let me know and I can change my notes on my end.

I'll be sending people at random someone else's form and you get to pick between what pets they selected. It'll only be done once. (hope that answers your question!)
