Nah. I've got 26,280 items in my wardrobe according to SubetaLodge (not counting CWs) and I enjoy sifting through all my crap layer-by-layer to find just the right items for the HA I'm working on. It's kind of relaxing lol. I collect every wearable I can, too, even things I think I'm unlikely to use, because I never know when they'll be just what I need for a cosplay or something.

Aw thank you! Nick is my favorite companion (gotta love Dogmeat too). I never thought of making the lighthouse my home settlement but that would be a cool one! My favorite is Spectacle Island; I used the Vault-Tec Workshop stuff to build a huge above-ground vault to house all my companions (except Nick, sadly...he seems happier back in Diamond City).

Honestly, I think my favorite thing about Subeta is that it allows me to be a massive hoarder without needing physical space for all this stuff. I just want all the things, and I want to virtually swim around in them like Scrooge McDuck in his money lol

Off Topic Stuff That sounds...totally rad! ahem Sorry. I dutifully cleared out the lighthouse for the Minutemen and established it as a settlement, then promptly tried to forget what happened there. I actually like the Children of Atom (I wish they were a faction, I'm wacky enough to join them) and it might have devastated me a little that the ones at the lighthouse were hostile no matter what I did. I was friendly with the ones in Far Harbor already but they didn't care.

Wow, that's a lot of stuff for a gallery! I have few with fairly narrow themes that keep them smallish. But then I use the TCs of my multitude of pets as additional hoards. This one [user not found] really exemplifies my hoarding tendencies haha. We're not even gonna talk about my vault, it's a mess.

That's awesome, I'm a little envious that you have Architeuthis as a legacy name! I'm sure I tried to get it at some point (squids are my favorite) and found it was already taken...congrats! XD

Just to say something sort of on-topic lol, I remember it being suggested (by users, not sure if staff actually said this) that people with huge wardrobes may be putting too much strain on the servers but I sure hope they'd never put a limit on it. I'd have no reason to stay if I couldn't keep collecting stuff and I refuse to get rid of anything.

My biggest issue is knowing that I have a particular item in my wardrobe, I can picture it my head, but then trying to find it. There is still some weirdness in the layers for some things (Backdrop and Foreground seem to be interchangeable sometimes as well as Foreground and Ground, and what the heck is the difference between Body and Fullbody, and why the heck are the Gooey Gummy Pocket pops in the Body layer when they look to be held?) which makes finding something more difficult, and in layers that have many, many pages of wearables? I've given up at times.

Sorting your stuff into drawers really helps with finding stuff. It does take a while to set up especially in the current wardrobe (some of the previous versions made putting stuff into drawers so much easier).

An example of my current drawer setup (that could use a overhaul by now): -Face (eyes, noses, mouths and makeup but not glasses or masks or other stuff that is on the face) -Hair (was usefull before the hair layer but no real use anymore) -Monster parts (wings, tails, tentacles, spooky eyes. everything for a supernaturally themed avatar) -Animals (lifelike dolls and all sorts of wearable companions) -Masks (bacause you really only need them once a year and otherwise are mostly in the way) -Wounds and tattoos (because otherwise I can never find them when I am looking for them) -Unique (items that have no recolors (or that I have no recolors of) -Basic (items that I own in 3 colors or more) -Ugly (Items I put in as filler so I could hit the last filled wardrobe achievement faster and so I could remove them all at once when I did)

Another thing that I have been doing since getting the achievement is only getting the items I really want from a event (instead of literally all the wearables regardless of if I liked them like I did before)

Yep, I struggle. I've been here for years and years and only make new HAs once or twice a month. I find myself forgetting what items exist, so I often have my "go-tos" for items, such as my favourite face items, pants, etc..

I do get annoyed at how poorly organised the wardrobe is. I can't tell what's the difference between a ground or foreground item so I get lost in those.

I hope some kind of tagging system appears. Users got those Hair items tagged pretty quickly so I imagine that other things could be tagged fast. I'd love a system where I could type "black pants" and all black pants show up. :P

And another side rant: I love the item art for wearables but at this point I basically have to hover over everything because I don't know what it'll be. i.e. this item in the Face layer is it an eye, lip, blush etc

(Didn't mean to disappear but the forums kind of weren't working for me for a while.)

Oh yeah, if I had to store most of my wardrobe in my vault or TCs or gallery or something, I'd never use it. It's already too much trouble for me to mess with variations of transformable items and redeemed wigs/hair coupons (I just always forget I have them). Hopefully there'd never be any real benefit to making us move stuff around like that.

SPOILER (click to toggle) You're absolutely right, of course, I just wish it was possible to reason with them! The lighthouse ones are more like feral ghouls. Do you mean the Far Harbor DLC? I love that questline even though it involves making some hard choices that kind of messed me up, but I preserved all the groups as much as possible and never had to destroy the CoA...just trick them a little.

Illusionary has a very impressive collection too, and it's all pretty rainbowy magical stuff! Most of my TCs are usually not my first priority but rather a last-ditch excuse to keep and display literally every item I get my paws on. lol It sounds like Architeuthis' TC was really pretty, too bad it got ruined. I guess there's been a recode of petpages in the works for a while now and I wish they'd finish it already so we'd know it's safe to do stuff like that again. I only use really simple profile templates that fortunately didn't get broken yet but who knows what'll happen before it's all settled; no point putting too much work in until then.

I do miss how easy it was to organize drawers. I wish I had done more when it was easier, but now I get to suffer.

I do find it difficult even if would use drawers, because I like looking at pieces individually and seeing the ways I could incorporate them into my outfits, sometimes unexpectedly. Or I see the item and have an idea for a new outfit altogether.

I'm grateful I can get rid of old outfits again so I can make more :)

I have 28556 wardrobe items almost all dumped into drawers. I started using drawers from the very beginning of their existence so its mostly been done bit by bit. My problem is the drawers I started with don't work as well these days, but without a select all option in drawer organization I really don't want to have to restart sorting 28K items individually, so I make do.

Like others have said, my biggest issue is finding an item I know is in there somewhere, but can't remember the name. At times my eye will wander right over the image of what I'm looking for because the CI bears no resemblance to what I'm looking for.

Next biggest issue is working on a contest HA, for example, that allows us to use the whole wardrobe, not just owned items. At that point, of course I can't use drawers to sort and have to look through things page by page - hair is the worst, and face is horrible too.

Omg that was brilliant! I'm going to have to build one of those. It's time for the Brotherhood's monopoly on the skies to come to an end!

Oh and I agree that it's hard to find stuff in the wardrobe when the name and item image don't relate to the actual wearable. I know it would be boring if every single hair item was just a picture of a wig though. Here's hoping for a tagging system that will solve that eventually.

Yeah it does overwhelm me to have too many things to sift through, I only keep items I know I’ll use. I’m not sure how to see how many I have (does the achievement remain at the highest number of items you’ve had?) but I don’t bother with collecting or completion in the wardrobe at all. I’m also a minimalist IRL.

hands up Same here. I often know HOW the items looks but I don't know the whole name. So I try using words like black, ice, snow, winter, rust, metal when I know that the item I looking for is a seasonal item. I often wish it would be possible to organize the Wardrobe after seasonal shops. It would make things easier sometimes.

I have a collection of 26,219 weararble items (non-CW) and 55 Custom Wearables. 14 of them are CWs I never use because I got them from the DC or the Pawn Shop Sale to trade or sale. 2 are gifts and hard to use with my current Alter-Ego OC I use since years.

I'm very happy to collect every item I get and if it's not a wearable, I can put it in my gallery. Every time when weapons are revamped or Scroll ingredients, I happy while I collect items and can pass them in my Wardrobe. Without paying astronomical amounts of subetaPoints because the user shops are sold out of the cheap stuff to sold them for higher prices. Not really using weapons (back around 2015 and before) but I often wished I could do work better with weapons. °-°

Not really an issue but you make me think of something. Working for HA contests is more easier than working on your own characters, or fan characters and characters from fandoms. It gives you more freedom to play with different items and playing with the layers. To challenge myself, I always try to work only with items I own. Sometimes I'm surprised how good a contest HA can look when you don't use your own Alter-Ego OC HA. °__°

For many years I wasn't able to buy the very expensive wearables like Delish and Vanity stuff. So I'm very, very, very thankful for every Free Shop time we got from the subeta team. Some Free Shops back, I got the and never used it, because I dislike the middle of this wearable. But by layering it with a Vest it works perfect as belt or tied round piece of cloth. ^-^

It's often very frustrating that I can't dress my HA how he looks like in real (er, I mean how I draw him) because of the colors of long skirts and how they're covering (or not covering) the boots or that they covering the whole leg. And using slacks and trousers isn't really a compromise for me. And that's mostly the problem I have while I have so many items, but I can only work with few of them.

yep, the achievement lists the highest number you've gotten to and stays at that point until you hit the 15K mark or you end up gradually rebuilding to a higher number.

To find how many items you own is simple: The wardrobe displays 100 items per page. So to get a quick estimate, open wardrobe, click items tab. Make sure you have selected "owned items" Layer: All, Drawers: all items. Then just glance at the final page and multiply by 100, eg: 102, would mean that you have more than 10100 but less than 10200 items in your wardrobe. To get an exact number, click on the final page and just count the items. So if you have 33 items on the final page, you would have 10133 items in your wardrobe.

One thing that would help, at least to me, would be the ability to have one item in multiple drawers so if you have eyes that are great for Morostide you could have it in a Morostide drawer as well as an Eyes drawer.

It would probably be a nightmare to code though as well as having an impact on the server.

This is the main problem I encounter; not to mention that Subeta's last few 'outfit across all shop releases' (like Eagle-Eyed) can be hard to track if they don't all have the same name, or you're remembering an item but it's not under it's color, it's under the SubQ designer xD. With the old updated wardrobe I had less of an issue, because I could search by item color.

They're bringing it back but it still has issues with search by color T^T; To answer the on-topic question yes and no; yes because I have TONS of items I will never use that I haven't removed because...I just haven't? but no because it does give me the opportunity to use old items in newer ways or use an item I didn't think about at first in a new and creative ways.
