My username used to be Viserion and now it's Ravenhart :)

Ravenhart is the last name of the protagonist of a future series of mine. At least I'm in the early stages of outlining and will hopefully get it out to the world someday.

It will be set in a world filled with super powered people and an evil organization and a good organization. The evil one will be tormenting Ravenhart at the start of the series. As I said, very early stages of outlining XD

The series will be Reverse Harem which is my favorite romance sub-genre as it does away with love triangles. ARG!

For outlines I get the important parts written down so I can understand the world I'm trying to create before writing the story. I like to discover my world while writing so the outline does expand once I begin writing.

Such as I'll understand Ravenhart enough to write her but may discover her favorite food while writing.

- hubby says i write by the seat of my pants. lol that i sit down with an open word doc (no outline, no notes) and just start writting. after that i fill in the character outlines.;) i do have a question - what is a reverse harem? i don't read manga or watch enough anime to be familiar with that.

Reverse Harem is a romance sub-genre where one woman ends up with multiple men. So it gets rid of the whole woman having to choose between multiple guys. While there are probably reverse harem manga and anime, that's not how I'm familiar with the sub-genre :)

I think some are slow burns so not as sexual as others. I still need to finish a series that was a slow burn and all of them haven't had sex together yet. I don't think two books in she's had sex with any of the men. Good series.

But I tend towards the Reverse Harem books that are full of sex. Though I do like a little bit of plot. One of my favorites is actually just as cute as it's sexual. But I wouldn't recommend to most due to content XD

- one of my professors told us as a class that sex should be the spice of the story but not it's base. in other words, sex is good in a story when the plot dictates it and not the other way 'round. it stuck with me for some reason and i've always judged bookswith that in mind. it's not that i dislike bodice rippers. they have their place with all the myriad genre out there. i just think that sex should spice the plot not be the plot. now, that doesn't stop me from reading a good book suggested by a knowledgeable friend.may i ask what draws you to that genre? i'm drawn to the paranormal/horror and murder mystery genres because of my need to solve everything. oh, and zombies! dead beat has zombies! this is amazing. i like the series oh so much better than the tv show. there is no comparison, really.

A lot of the things I write while having explicit sex, put plot first. I plan for Ravenhart's series to be the same. A Reason to Live For is out of the norm for me.

My sex life is not spicy and I'm disabled so when I can do it, me and my husband are limited. He's also disabled.

But writing and reading the genre allows me to really have fun with sex. I don't mind sex in 'bodice rippers' being unrealistic as that's the point.

I also like some taboo kinks that wouldn't work in the real world for a variety or reasons. But fiction allows me to explore them in a space where no one is harmed and/or things work out unlike in the real world.

I only really like first person point of view with romances (whether or not there are multiple points of view) as it allows me to better get in the action.

- living vicariously is one of the best reasons for writing. you can experience oh so much more that way it's why i love the stories i do. i could never hunt the paranormal in real life and forget about me being a cop. so i read about it. any idea what kind of world your new series will be set in?

A super hero world where people know they exist. Right now I'm only focused on the evil organization's experiments concerning Ravenhart. That organization is trying to create super powered beings that will fight for them. Some experiments work and others not as much.

Funnily enough I think I have a name for the good organization that probably won't play that major of a role in the series but have no idea what to call the evil organization that is much more important XD

Maybe at the start but not at the end. With original stories a series or standalone work can start as a jumping off point but then the story completely changes by the end.

There are some hotties in the MCU (both movies and shows) so the two (so far) men are based off of two of them. But, again, backstories will end up differing greatly. Bodies won't differ XD

Right now I'm more focused on A Reason to Live For so I can't spend too much time outlining. Plus I have another original series and a few fanfics. So not working hard on outlining means less of a chance of pausing work on A Reason to Live For.
