Hi guys! So, I bought a CW that covers up the avatar's legs but, despite removing the legs on the HA base or using items that white out the HA legs, I can't seem to hide them properly - or they'll work for some layering, but not all. My current HA has the legs disguised because of a foreground item, but an outfit i'm working on with a backdrop i want to use has big ol' white spots, no matter what I do. Am I not doing something right? I'm new to really layering and working with changing the HA, so I'd appreciate pointers!

Here's the outfit in question with layering issues:

Older background items have the HA shape cut out of them (the ones that don't need to be layered completely behind the base to work) so you'll always have white spots while using those with the limbs turned off

[edit] The would also cause similar layering issues since you can't turn the limbs on that item off, if that makes sense. It covers the entire HA base, so even with a complete background without the cutout, the seashell's coloring would still show

Is the background you want to use an older one? Old backgrounds have an HA shaped hole (example: ) and you can't really cover it up unless you get really creative with item placement. Newer backgrounds don't have that hole (example: ) so might be easier to work with.

ah jeez, that's the issue! this is an older CW backdrop. I didn't know that about the cutouts, thank you!
