First I will say hello to everyone! I am a 21 year vet from Neopets. I see a lot of my fellow neopians joining here though I am stunned that I never heard about Subeta until a couple days ago. I am sure you all already know how Neopets is in the process of destroying itself so I am not going to go in to a rant about that, and I am taking my time looking this over and getting to know Subeta. I just have to ask...

HOW do you just pick only 10 pets?! Oh my goodness. The artwork and detail put in to all of this has floored me. I am so excited to dive in to all of this.

I know I have a lot of learning to do but so far I am just blown away. If anyone has any tips for beginners I welcome them all!

welcome!!! and don't you worry, you can have WAY more than 10 pets, there's even an achievement for having 20 pets! you can get more slots automatically by signing up for a Gold Account (which is easier to come by than you'd think, you can even get a GA for free!) and even after your GA expires, you get to keep any pets you made while it was active! even without a GA, you can purchase individual petslots (Cash Shop only afair) or get petslots through site events! pet slots can also be obtained through Loyalty Boxes, which are obtained yearly after spending so many years on the site.

my first tip to you is to start questing! Sarah runs the newbie quests, and from there I recommend doing the Wizard's quests. it's ridiculously easy to make sP compared to neo, and questing is a great way to get started. I recommend these two specifically because the others can get pretty pricey, and these two have good payouts for new players or someone looking to get some quick money. when I started 12 years ago (wheeze) I did Item Hunt... I haven't played it in a long time so your mileage may vary! be sure to check out things like dailies on the main page, as well as the holiday calendar (Morostide is coming up! the best holiday!!). the SubetaPedia is also fun to read.

this guide has been rly helpful for me so far. also just straight up going to the explore page and going to each world and checking out everything gave me a pretty good sense of the site. i'm sure i still have plenty to learn but that was a great base. i should also mention that the quests on here are way more profitable than on neo, that's the main way i've been getting sP so far

Welcome! First thing - you can get wayyy more than 10 pets. 10 is just to start :) I have 40 pet slots myself and know other users with over 100! My biggest new user tip would be to visit the bathhouse every day. You can get all kinds of site currencies that way - including cash shop credits!
