I'm genuinely curious. I've been on the site for over ten years and not once gotten that to trigger. Has anyone else? I can't imagine that it's a common thing but I didn't expect it to be that rare as well.

My achievement counter says I have gotten one in the 12 years I've been here. I've been feeding my pets some in the past week or two to try to get more of the achievements, but no bugs yet.

I've been trying to work through my achievements as well, that's how I noticed I've never actually gotten it once. It's such a weird one, I almost wonder if it's a disabled feature.

I'm pretty sure its not disabled.

I got every bug at least twice, many years ago. I needed two of each, one for my then minion gallery, and one to put in a time machine to get the butterfly/moth they turn into, also for my gallery.

I used to play slots a lot to get the fruit. Then I would feed them to my pets, 10 at the time, each eating 10, so 100 a day. I did not get one bug a day, so the chance was less than 1%. It took many, many fruit and lots and lots of feeding to get all the bugs.

I haven't fed them oofa fruit in ages, since I've long since gotten those achievements, so I can't confirm the bugs are still active of my own knowledge, but I've heard of other people triggering them.

Thanks for the reminder about these guys! Question: is the Time Machine one use per bug transformation? Or can it be reused over and over?

One use, sadly. It was expensive making all those moths/butterflies.

Haha- figured as much…. repeated use was definitely wishful thinking on my part! LOL I only have one in my vault. They must still just RS at BHH… I don’t see them anywhere else onsite… except for user shops, of course.

yeah I bought mine from user shops (with the occasional gift from a friend), but I never got any from BHH (not that Iv'e ever gotten much from there), but then most if not all the moths/butterflies weren't in shops at any price, so...

I think I may have gotten mine from the Token shop. I have absolutely zero luck in BHH. I did manage to buy one of the moths for just under 5 mil… pretty much the cost of the Time Machine so… 9 to go… and I’m all full up on Oofa fruit for the day.

I've been able to get two in all my time here, and was once able to use a Time Machine one one (I've been able to RS at BHH, but I think I got that machine from the Free Shop if I recall correctly).

Yep! The bugs are rare but I've gotten at least 10 for the highest tier of the Oofa Fruit Finder achievement. I feed one to my pet every day that I do battle quests so that my pet can battle. (unless I have other food waiting to be fed to him)

I've never managed to get one, but I haven't been grinding it. I had no idea about the multiple bugs and time machine, so thanks for the info .

I've only ever managed to catch one restock at BHH in 10+ years of being on the site, so maybe luck isn't on my side!

I just recently finished this achievement. I'd guess I averaged about one bug per 100 fruits, so it does take some commitment.

BHH is tough. I think I get something once a year there. There's aspects of the site that I really need to think have to be recalibrated for a larger user population & larger item pool then it had over 10 years. I wonder if this info about the Oofa fruit & Time Machine got buried out of sight because it's just too dang rare for players to even know about most of the time?
