October Horror-Themed HA Contest! The End.

the theme of this contest is Horror. yep. pretty simple. but wait! there's more!
there are 3 categories that will make up the various rounds of this contest. feel free to get creative with them.
1. Paranormal (October 2nd - 11th)
- a ghost/spirit? someone haunted by one? some other strange phenomena? up to you. if it can't be explained through typical human understanding, this is the category it fits in. life and death can interact in peculiar ways.

2. Abomination (October 12th - 20th)
- "freak of nature, atrocity, an affront to all things holy." the occupants of this category have heard it all, and then some. this is the spot to submit your beasts, monsters, and creatures. somewhere along the line, something went wrong and resulted in... you show me.
Outfit Not Foundmy example! shambling, rotting, artificially alive through some insidious sorcerer’s means- of more use in death than in life.
3. Real Monsters (October 22nd - 31st)
- no ghouls or goblins here. only the real monsters: humans. oooh, wow. i know. just- scary people here, alright? nothing attributed to vengeful spirits or demons hiding under the bed. just scary people doing scary things. *(psa: no real people inspired HA's for this category. make it up.)
Outfit Not Foundmy example! utterly consumed by hopelessness; unable to see beyond their own suffering. that is when a person is most dangerous.
1. The categories will "run" one at a time during the various time periods listed above. however, feel free to submit to any category at any time. the winner for each category will be announced on the final day for each category.</p>

<li>ie. Paranormal winner announced Oct 11th, Abomination winner announced Oct 20th, Real Monsters winner announced Oct 31st.</li>
</ul>
<p>2. you get ONE entry per category, for a maximum of 3 entries per person.</p>
<ul>
<li>you do not have to own any of the items you use. all items are fair game!</li>
<li>you CAN win in multiple categories/rounds. keep those outfits coming!</li>
</ul>
<p>3. i will be choosing a 1st and 2nd place from each category for a total of 6 WINNERS.</p>
<p>4. any time period, any setting. the scarier the better.
(small blurbs not required but those are definitely cool.)

Paranormal outfit- Never leave your mirrors uncovered, especially around the witching hour. You never know what may come out to join you.
Abomination-What those 'scientists' were doing, we'll never truly know, but this thing really didn't like it.
Real Monsters- Those monsters, those 'doctors', they wanted to see what I was made of. I guess they learned in the end.
