I've been battling challengers again, just to earn more EXP...and this just happened when I battled Daemon:

You have defeated Daemon 1 time! You won a(n) Hard token to use in the battle shop! You earned 3000 sP for beating Daemon! Haneul earned 232 EXP Points!

Daemon drops: Hydrus Horn Curved Hydrus Horns

When I look at my pet's (Haneul) stats (looking at records just for Daemon), it comes up as 1 win. But when I look at Haneul's records as a whole, the wins come up as 101. No other opponents seem to be like this.

I think that she got reset back when they added the other Daemon last year (or was it two years ago) for the anniversary throwback battle event we had. They have the same name and they might have accidentally reset both challengers at that point.

So it would be okay to keep the drops, and still get the EXP from her? If it's not a glitch/bug thing then I'll keep battling her, but I don't want to abuse a potential glitch. It makes sense though, considering she's the only opponent it's happened to..

To be safe, I would file a ticket and ask. Or you can double check with a BA maybe. Any thoughts?
