I believe it's the same amount as one of each of the original bugs released. There are 70 now, but it's probably around 1/3 or so of those? There have been at least 2 sets added since. Going by itemID, I'd say 30. c:

So the achievement was released years ago, HERE is a link to the news post. In the news post it says, "There’s an achievement in it for you if you catch all 30. Bug Catching will be around until the end of August!" at that time I think there was only 30 bugs in bug catching.

BUT there are more bugs now, searching/filtering on subetalodge shows there is now 70

Now it might be you need to catch all 70, or just the original 30.

Wow, its been that long? lol I keep forgetting to go see her, but should be close to atleast 30.

I've been wondering the same thing! Would love clarification on whether its 30 or 70 too.

A way to see what bugs have been caught that count towards the achievement would be great too (but a big ask!)

This is the perfect thing to ask in a ticket. Would be really good to know if you need 30 or 70. Might even find out the achievement is glitched or something.
