Is it a weapon worth purchasing or merely a cuddly lil' minion?

According to Subetakodge it says it's a minion and weapon but there's no weapon details, at least not posted yet?

I have one and just checked - I can confirm it is not a weapon and cannot be equipped. Ignore that weird Tier 0 from the hover - theres a few items like that.

The items that say "Tier 0" in the hover were weapons once upon a time, but have since gotten "decommissioned". There's apparently something that makes it impossible to remove the tier tag, so the BAs just set them to t0. In case anyone was curious. C:
