I recently (2 weeks ago) made a pet named Susan Sto Helit, which was an already existing name.. today I tried looking up the name in the pet search and only 1 pet with that exact name came up (the one with the legacy name).. I tried looking up my sister's new pet called Droom and I'm also only finding one pet with the legacy name Droom, but not my sister's pet with the same name.. however my pet that I renamed Napoleon Solo after non unique names became an option, DOES show up alongside the one with that legacy name.. so it seems that it's only newer pets that aren't showing up (yet)?... is there a known reason for this or is this a bug? how soon can I expect these pets to start showing up in the search?

*ok just before posting I also tried looking for my sister's pet called winter, which she created in september 2020, and that one is also not showing up (it IS showing 4 other pets called winter and one called "winter." though so perhaps hers doesn't fit in the drop down menu anymore? which sounds like a problem for all pets with popular short names, since you can't hit enter and see a list with ALL the pets fitting your search term anymore..)

I'd really love to see the search results page make a return so we can see more pets, the short-list system only lists the first 5 names and ranks them by ID so any pets newer than the first 5 on a full list will not appear. That being said, it does seem like a number of the newer IDs of more unique names don't show up at all..

My pets Darkride and Sourdough don't show up despite the lack of similar/identical names to kick them off the shortlist, and when I work my way up or down their ID neighbors it's sort of a variable result whether or not the more-unique names will show up under the Pet Search.

I wonder what the deal is since it seems to be somewhat age-related with the newer the name, the lower the chance of the Search finding it? That's what it almost feels like but I'm not sure.

ETA
