</p>
<p>A little bird landed by my window at dawn.</p>
<p>I asked it to leave, to let me sleep. The little bird Sang of the day ahead and what it might bring.</p>
<p>I told it there was nothing ahead but hard work and headaches.</p>
<p>It told me to grab some ice cream after a hard day and laugh the headache away. It sang of cheer and merriment, half way through it fluttered away to spread it&;s cheer.</p>
<p>I left my bed not for the promise of a good day, but in hopes of seeing that little bird again.</p>
<p>Thank you for being my little bit of cheer today.
