I'm training my two pets, HEEHOO and Darkshradow, I want them to have the same stats, so I try to keep them the same. (Except int because that'll take forever sdfgkl;) However, during this session rn, I noticed that when training my Darkshradow pet, he still has 1 more class left in strength, where HEEHOO just recently finished. All the training sessions involved with these two actually (they are my only two battle pets) isn't entirely even, so I have to battle a little and spend exp on a stat a few points sometimes, usually like 2 or 3. And they are the same level too! I just wanted to know why this is and if int has anything to do with how long your pet trains? Or is it random? Just wondering.

[-Winks] Each session gains you between 1-3 of a single stat, so it's likely that your pets won't level at exactly the same rate, although they will on average. There's not much point in evening out the differences in the short term, except for your own peace of mind. Training time increases every 100 levels on the 50 (at 50, 150, 250 etc.), so it's likely one of your pets had just passed the threshold when you noticed the training time difference. Int is irrelevant here, but will greatly benefit the pet with higher int in terms of battling if you make use of scrolls (as you should).

[-Winks] So training time is based entirely on the pet's level. Training starts to take longer at level 50, and then every 100 levels beyond that adds more time.

But training can give anywhere from 1-3 stats each time you finish. So when they get slightly off-kilter from each other, it's just because one had a little better luck and got some bonus points.

Looking to buy this!

Oh! So it is random. I forgot to mention I've been *autotraining them not training lol. Kinda assumed AP at 45 would be enough from a battle guide, Is it just a good idea to read more generally for higher stat Battle Coliseum opponents?

[-Winks] As far as I know, autotraining just automates the process, so yes.

Yup, read to all your battlers! It'll be worth it at higher tiers.

[-Winks] I used to try to get my pets even stats, but then I realized that way lies madness. "Roughly the same" stats is a lot more achievable.

On top of the randomness of the training center, any time you collect income from a pet's job, they have a chance of gaining stats or intelligence. Also, your active pet has a chance of gaining stats via a random event or if you complete an Oracle quest.

The more AP you have, the more (and better) scrolls you can equip. AP 45 will get you somewhere, but you can definitely do better!

Ok, don't want to go insane, already feel crazy for battling anyways πŸ˜‚ I'll keep that in mind.
